- INTRODUCTION
- By applying for the URC Women’s Leadership Academy (the “Programme”), all participants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions in full. All entry instructions form part of these terms and conditions.
- The program is delivered by the URC through our partner learning provider, Trust Impact. URC for all purposes is referred to here as the “Promoter”.
- The Program is open to anyone aged between and including 18 and 26 on the date on which they apply.
- Online registrations open 3 December 2024 and close on 31 January 2025 12 noon BST. The application includes a fact-finding form and requires the upload of a video.
- A selection committee will be tasked to assess each valid application according to the criteria & suitability of the candidate. 50 candidates will be selected to join the Programme.
- In the event that the Promoter is unable to contact an applicant within 5 working days from the application closing date, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the place to an alternative applicant.
- The programme will provide the 50 selected candidates with access to a maximum of eight online workshops led by professionals within the sports sector. Candidates will be given various tasks to complete. Completion of tasks and attendance records will be considered to graduate from the programme. Assessment tasks will be set to select a top-performing graduate (to be called MVP – Most Valuable Player). The MVP will be provided with work experience for the URC Grand Final in June 2025. The MVP will also be offered a short internship programme within the sports sector.
- On successful completion of the programme, all candidates will receive an information pack relating to each of the workshops and be able to access recordings of the workshops for future reference. The 50 candidates will be invited to join an alumni programme.
- The Promoter reserves the right at any time, in its absolute discretion, to:
- verify the eligibility of any participant (including their age and place of residence); and
- disqualify any participant found to be abusing or tampering with the operation of the programme or entering using fraudulent means, or who the Promoter believes to have acted in breach of these terms and conditions.
- LIABILITY
- The Promoter it is not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable.

- The Promoter reserves the right to extend, withdraw, alter or suspend the Programme or these terms and conditions at any time if circumstances beyond its control make this unavoidable.
- All personal data submitted in connection with the Programme will be processed by the promoter for the purposes of administering and managing the Programme and (where applicable) and verifying the eligibility of each participant. The Promoter is committed to protecting the privacy of all participants. Data that is collected from or about participants will be used in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, a copy of which can be found at https://www.unitedrugby.com/privacy-policy
- The Programme and these terms and conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by English law.
